Blake Gamez took silver overall in the 55kg class at the 2019 University National Championships! Blake also won a silver medal in the snatch and a bronze medal in the clean & jerk. Jamie, Brie, and Marc started weightlifting with the UT team this past fall and qualified for the University National Championships over the winter. This past weekend they competed in Las Vegas at their first national meet. Each went 5 for 6 and increased their total by 5kg+ from their first local meet. Jamie went 59/76/135, Brie 65/82/147 and Marc 92/116/208. Micah competed at her second University Nationals and went 58/68/126.
