Competitors: Brie Gomez

Brie Gomez rounded out her junior lifting career with a top ten finish at her first senior competition! She went 4 for 6 on the day with competition PRs in the snatch at 74kg, clean & jerk hitting 89kg, and total with 163kg. She had an agonizingly close miss on her third snatch attempt at 76kg. After a tough call for a press out on her 2nd clean & jerk at 88kg, Brie went up on her third attempt to hit a massive 89kg clean & jerk. Brie finished the day in 8th for the 64kg class!
